I dont think the goofy deputy was a good choice for a co-star/Kuckles' aprentice. I wouldve picked Akira from the Virtua Fighter series; also a Sega property. He would seek Knuckles out after hearing about him defeating Dr. Robitnik, and Knuckles would help him train for the World Fighting Tournament. Throughought the season we would meet other Sega heroes like Ryo from Shenmu. Knuckles could sympathize with him for losing his father like he did. Knuckle and Akira would help him in different episodes in fights and leave things open to wither their own movies or tv series as a result. Your know, a SEGA Universe.
